The Deep River Folk School provides essential skills and knowledge to adapt to today's challenges in thoughtful ways. Workshops are held the third Saturday of the month from March through November. A self-directed interest group on "Wild Harvesting and Bushcraft" meets the 4th Sunday of the month from April through October from 2-6 pm in the afternoon. Three main focus areas at present are: Feeding Ourselves, Housing Ourselves, and Equipping Ourselves for sustainable, long-term resilience.

The Deep River Folk School is a joint venture of Sustenance Farm, located at Living Well Community/Ecovillage, and Living Well Earth Stewards, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit committed to environmental education and sustainability.
